One of Apple’s buzzwords in recent years is Ultra Wide Band, a system of interconnectivity between devices that actually generates a worldwide sub-network in which all of Apple’s devices “live.” So today comes these AirTags, “buttons” that can be docked on any object, instantly revealing where it is, using the “Where’s” app on iPhones, iPads and Macs. So they range from the most classic scenario, an AirTag docked on your house keys, to any type of object or vehicle. Thanks to Precision Finding technology, AirTags become something akin to Spider-Man’s “Ragnospies,” a generational leap over competing products of the same type (there have already been some on the market for a few years) in geolocation accuracy thanks to Ultra Wide Band and battery power.
